This blog has been created to house some of the work done by the students of Verszlunarskóli Islands, in Reykjavik (Islandia)and those of IES Antonio Machado in Alcalá de Henares (Spain) participating in the Bilateral Comenius Project "Are we so different? / Y tu ¿Cómo vives?"; a trilingual project - English, Spanish and some Icelandic- where students at both ends explore, in a colaborative way,some issues related to the way young people live in both countries.

The trip to Madrid was a very important experience for the Icelandic students. That's why they were asked to write a diary of the experience, so that this activity would help them improve their written competence in Spanish.
El viaje a Madrid representó una experiencia muy importante para los estudiantes islandeses. Por esta razón se les pidió escribir un diario sobre este viaje.
Las profesoras creemos que esta actividad les ayudaría a los alumnos a plasmar sus experiencias en forma escrita, lo cual contribuiría a practicar su español escrito.
